One Thing Challenge Complete and More

This past week was a major Spring Cleaning week for me. As if I didn’t have enough to do, I decided to join the One Thing One Week Challenge.  My goal was to  get my Postage Stamp quilt quilted. I assembled the top in January but have struggled to get back to it. Yahoo! I got it done.

When Saturday arrived, I spent the morning shredding 3 trash bags full from my filing cabinet. After all that work, I played with my quilt some more.  I cut out the binding.

And this afternoon, I sewed it on.

I would love to complete sewing the binding but…

this needs to be turned into a dress by Easter.  Maybe?

Thanks for the compliment on the binding. I wasn’t sure about it as I was getting ready to sew it on but my husband encouraged me to go ahead and use it. The postage stamp quilt was fun to make. I did the quilt along from p.s.i quilt and it went really quickly.
